President: Lori KellyCurrently the elected President. Lori served three terms as Vice President/Nat'l Show Chair (2013-16) and previously Director Class of '13. She continues as founding editor/publisher of WrapUp, STCA's electronic newsletter. Lori was instrumental in production of the new STCA Grooming Video and initiated Strategic Planning '17 in addition to her demonstrated continuous service to the club; Regional Club Delegates Chair; member of Facebook and SOP Committees; and former Clan Connection editor. She was responsible for revitalization of Ways & Means, now rebranded the STCA Boutique ('06-present) and continues as Board liaison and committee member, contributing to the profitability of the club. Member of STCGNY ('03-present), she served as President (2010-2014), Director (2008-2010), former newletter editor and Bagpiper Clan Correspondent. Vice President & Show Chair: Pam WilliamsCurrently serving as STCA Vice President and Show Chairman. Formerly STCA Corresponding Secretary (2014-2016) and STCA Director (2011-2014). Pam obtained her first Scottie in 1994 and has participated in obedience, agility and conformation. Member of STC of Greater Dayton since 2000, had been President, Board Member, Show Chairman, Hospitality Chair, Trophy Chair and Newsletter Editor. Member of STCA since 2003. Has served as Advertising Chair, National Sweepstakes Show Secretary, Bagpiper Advertising Editor and Bagpiper Editor(2010-2014). Finished 8 champions and bred 6 litters. Judged multiple matches and Regional Sweepstakes. Member of STC of Greater Louisville and STBEA. Graduate of Xavier University and employed by Procter and Gamble for 20 years, currently as a Site Integrated Planner for Contract Manufacturing. Recording Secretary: Kathleen J. FerrisCurrent STCA Recording Secretary(2016-17). She is a 2nd-generation breeder/exhibitor of Scotties for over 43 years, incl. National and Regional specialty, group and BIS winners. Sponsor of the new STCA Forum, Board Member 2015, Chair of the STCA Nominating Committee 2014 and Member of the STCA Standard Review Committee. STCA Breed Mentor & AKC Gazette Scottie Columnist. Also, an AKC Terrier Group/BIS Judge. Judged both STCA National Sweepstakes and Rotating regular classes. Facilitated grooming seminars for STCA. Corresponding Secretary: Theresa Kay ThomasCurrently Corresponding Secretary. Theresa has served as STCA Director of Class 2012 & 2015, STCA Recording Secretary 2013-15. A member of STCA for 33 years. Recipient of the STCA Good Sportsmanship Award in 2000 and has also served as Bagpiper Editor (4 years), HTF Treasurer (2 years) and on the STCA Website team. She has also served as Show Secretary for the STCA National Sweepstakes, Obedience & Rally (2010-present), National Rotating 2013, 2017 and STCA's Independent Parent Specialty Show '16. Theresa bought her first show Scottie in 1982. She and her husband have been active in Greater Dallas STC since '82. Treasurer: Steve RussellSteve has been involved in AKC events 38+ years, including obedience, conformation, and breeding. An STCA member for 32+ years serving as Director (2009-2015); Finance Committee (2009-2017); Treasurer (2015-2017) where he planned the Club’s return to profitability; Web Liaison (2010-2017), where he guided creation of a new website and move to e-commerce; Judge Mentor (2009-2017); Nominating Committee Chair (2008), Specialty Banquet Committee (2007-2009), and mentor. Steve has finished over 60 champions, and owner-handled Scotties to Top 10 Rankings, Platinum Grand Champion, and Best in Show. Steve is an AKC Breeder of Merit; uses CHIC health registry for breeding stock; received STCA’s Brood Bitch and Bred-By Exhibitor Awards, and AKC’s Bred-By Exhibitor Gold Award. Member of the STC of Chicago with service as President and VP/Show Chair; STC of Michigan; STC of Greater Louisville; STC of England (UK); STBEA (UK), and Great Lakes All Terrier Association with service as Show Chair. AKC Delegate: Helen PrinceHelen has bred and exhibited Scotties 45+ years. STCA member 42 years. Currently the AKC Delegate (serving on the AKC Parent Club Committee and the AKC Reunite Disaster Trailer Committee), Sec. of the Health Trust Fund, and CHIC Liaison. Previous STCA offices: Director, Recording Sec., Vice President/Show Chair, and Trophy Chair. Memberships include: STCGW DC since 1971, holding every office twice and currently President; STCGBA, officer and Board member; National Capital K. C., current President; Columbia Terrier Assn. of MD, a charter member and Sec. for 20 years; STBEA (England) and the STC of England. She has finished many conformation champions; most owner handled, has conducted Education seminars and is a Mentor. Director Class of 2019: Kelli EdellKelli has owned Scotties for 49 years and has been breeding and exhibiting for 14 years, finishing 40 champions to date. Kelli has been a member of the STCA for 13 years and has served two years as Trophy Chair. She has been an officer/director for the STC of Greater Houston for 24 years, serving as Vice President and Recording Secretary as well as Show Chair, Trophy Chair, Ring Steward and Banquet Chair. Kelli is also a founding member of the Houston All Terrier Club. She has worked for Sulzer for 24 years and currently is President of Sulzer US Holding Inc. and serves on the boards of ten companies. Director Class of 2019: Michael KrolewskiMike has been in the breed for 30+ years and a member of the STCA since 1986. He has served on the STCA Tallies Committee (2010-present); STCA website Chair (2010-2019); Nominating Committee Chair (2016); two-term trustee of the STCA Health Trust Fund (around '05 and '14-present), including work on the 2005 and 2015 health survey. Mike has been educated in molecular biochemistry and computer science. He is currently working as a software engineer. As a member of the Washington State STC for about 30 years, Mike has served in various roles as officer; also a member of the All Terrier Club of Western Washington. Mike and his wife Vandra have been showing and breeding for the last 30 years with many champions, grand champions, group winners, and BIS dogs. Director: Mark LaBonteMark has owned Scottish Terriers for more than 20 years; exhibiting in Conformation for five years. He purchased two Scotties in 2011 from long time STCA members and finished championships on both and achieved a Bronze Grand Championship title on the male. He bred his first litter in 2014 and recently finished from the Bred By Exhibitor class. Mark is a member of the San Francisco Bay Scottish Terrier Club and is currently treasurer for both the Scottish Terrier Club of California and Desert Empire Terrier Club of Southern California where he has made substantial progress in getting both clubs officially registered with appropriate government agencies and has served in the past STCC Puppy Match Show Chair. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant wit A Master's degree in Taxation who managed a firm for more than 10 years prior to starting his own successful tax practice. Mark brings a fresh perspective to the dog show world both as an exhibitor and a professional who believes in championing our breed and striving to make the STCA a more cohesive and fulfilling experience for ALL members. Director Class of 2019: Janet TomlinsonJanet has been involved for over 30 years in obedience, rally, agility, rescue, as well as conformation, breeding and therapy dogs. A member of STCA for 8 years, she has served as Nominating Chair (2015), Facebook team member, Bagpiper Director of Marketing (2016) and Stud Dog Ads (2015-2017), STCA's roaming photographer (2013-present), and STCA MCKC Specialty Week Reservations (2013-15). As Historian (2013-present), Janet has created the library now available at stca.biz. She is a member of STCA's Web Team (2013-present). Janet also serves as ROM/HOF Chair (2016-present). Janet created and manages the Pedigree Database, serving as Pedigree Chair (2016-present). She is a current member in good standing of STCTB where previously she served as Vice President and the Bagpiper Clan Correspondent. A past court reporter (Dade and Palm Beach Counties), Janet is owner/president of Amerigrow Recycling, a 60 acre wood-waste recycling facility and manufacturer of landscape mulch and soils, located in Palm Beach County, Florida (1995-present). Director Class of 2020: Jerry BurgeCurrently serving as STCA Director, Jerry and his family have been involved in owning, raising, breeding and exhibiting Scotties for 46 years and member of the STCA for 44 years. He has served the STCA as Treasurer, Vice President, Legislative Chairperson and Regional Club Rep. Jerry is a member of the San Francisco Bay STC, and serves as President (3 times), past Treasurer and Vice President. He is a member of the STC of California and Santa Clara Valley Kennel Club. Jerry has also bred and/or exhibited GSP, Bearded Collie, Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers and West Highland White Terriers.
